Aylin M. Bello, MA, RPsy is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the Philippines and an active member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP). Aylin utilizes evidenced-based approaches such as Trauma-Informed approaches, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic Approaches, and play. Aylin also provides training, seminars, and workshops on Well-being, Resilience, Emotion Regulation, Social Skills and Interpersonal Skills, and Psychological First Aid. At present, she is a faculty member of The School of Education and Human Development (SED) at the University of Asia and the Pacific (UAP).
Aylin engages in various volunteer and advocacy work, such as the Resilience Training for the Philippine Air Force. Furthermore, she used to do volunteer work in Skwelahang Sikolohiya, an NGO that provides psychoeducation to inmates. Aylin conducts psychological testing and assessment in the Center for Behavioral Health in The Medical City. Her research interests include help-seeking, risk-taking, parent-child relationships, parenting, and emotion regulation. Aylin has published and presented her research work both at national and international conferences. She also contributed to a podcast, the Coffee-sations with Your Counselors, which provides relatable information, psychoeducation, and discussion on topics about wellness and mental health.
