Description
Lia Infante is a Registered Psychologist and Certified Parenting Coach through The Coach Partnership. She works primarily with children, adolescents, and parents, with particular experience in anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and social and relationship challenges.
Lia’s approach is collaborative and individualized. She draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused approaches, and Social Thinking, adapting her work to the needs, strengths, and goals of each client.
An important part of Lia’s practice is working with parents. She helps parents better understand their children while also creating space for them to reflect on their own concerns, responses, values, and goals. Through parent consultation and coaching, she supports parents in gaining clarity, identifying what is within their control, strengthening their relationship with their child, and developing approaches that fit both their child and the kind of parent they want to be.
Lia graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Psychology and later earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University. Before entering private practice, she worked in clinical research at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Depression Clinical and Research Program and taught psychology at Ateneo de Manila University.
