Our vision is that All people will value mental health and emotional well-being, and be able to access high-quality mental health services.
To engage in non-profit social welfare services and other charitable activities including:
Mental health education and awareness, and skill building activities to professional and non-professional front-liners to enable better and faster response to mental health needs in the Philippines communities.
Psychosocial services such as counseling and other services of interventions that promote and enhance coping capabilities and potential of the clients.
Advocacy, awareness & education activities to reduce the stigma of mental health in the Philippines.
The Subsidized Counseling Program provides counseling services to the marginalized community or to those who need but cannot afford mental health counseling.
There are clients referred by social service organizations, victims’ services, schools and universities, self-referrals, and other non-profit organizations.
We also partner with community agencies, and other groups who serve local urban poor communities such as community frontliners / responder / workers / carers, in order to provide counseling services at their locations to reach a greater number of individuals and families in need.
The Community Support Program aims to educate, provide direct care, and build the capacity of critical workers such as the community responders/ carers/ frontliners who directly serve and support the local communities, especially the most vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in times of disaster or other crisis situations.
Built upon the firm belief in the potential and well-being of the youth, the YA Program aims to be a resource for the youth and their carers (e.g., parents, teachers, school administrators, etc.). One of the many ways we do that is through providing workshops and webinars on different relatable topics to the youth, such as Stress Management, Self Compassion and Change & Acceptance. It is a safe space to talk and to share, to learn and to laugh!
Over the past couple of years, In Touch has strived to not only provide exceptional care to those in need of support, but also to serve as a training ground for future mental health professionals and practitioners.
