Marj obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Santo Tomas where she graduated as Cum Laude. She is also currently enrolled in a Certificate Program in Traumatic Stress Studies under the Trauma Research Foundation. She ranked 7th in the 2016 Licensure Exam for Psychometrician and is also a registered psychologist. Her clinical work focuses on depression, anxiety, trauma and stressor-related disorders, bereavement, as well as attachment-related issues and adjustment difficulties. She caters to adolescents and adults, and has obtained trainings on various approaches and interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Basic Narrative Therapy, Therapeutic Community, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
Marj is currently part of a team that provides crisis intervention, individual and group counseling services to BPO employees. Prior to her work with In Touch Community Services, Marj was previously affiliated with a tertiary, general hospital where she spearheaded the employee wellness program for healthcare workers and implemented the institution’s psychological testing service.
