Dr. Rucelle C. Zuniega earned her Residency Training in Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine from the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital. She is a Diplomate of the Specialty Board of Philippine Psychiatry and a Fellow of the Philippine Psychiatric Association.

Aside from her medical degree and specialization in Psychiatry, Dr. Zuniega, had further management education and received her Master’s Degree in Management Major in Hospital Administration from Philippine Christian University.

Dr. Zuniega is the Head of the Acute Psychiatric Unit and the Chairperson of the Compliance and Licensing Committee of Eastern Bicol Medical Center. She is also an active visiting psychiatric consultant at Catanduanes Doctors Hospital, Inc. and Immaculate Heart of Mary Hospital Island of Catanduanes, and is a consultant psychiatrist at In Touch Community Services.
