Dr. Donaldo Nicanor Tugbang is a certified diplomate of the Board of Philippine Psychiatry. He specializes in adult psychiatric assessment, biological management, and psychosocial interventions particularly – supportive, cognitive and behavioral therapy.
During his 10 years of work experience. He has served as an educator and a consultant in different educational institutions, hospital-based centers, private practice here in Iloilo, and the Institute of Mental Health in Singapore. Aside from Tagalog and English, he is also fluent in Ilonggo and Cebuano dialects.
One of Dr. Tugbang’s mental health advocacy is the emphasis and prioritization of mental health care or support services in faraway areas in the Philippines. Currently, he is the head of the online and informatics section at Western Visayas Medical Center; a fellow of the Philippine Psychiatric Association; and a member of the International Neuromodulation Society
