Shikha Nag

Having lived and worked in India, Canada, U.K., Indonesia, Nepal and now in the Philippines, Shikha Nag brings to the table an extensive multicultural perspective.

An economist by academic training at the Post- graduate level, Shikha has worked at organizing and training in various academic and community related activities over the past 20 years.

She earned a Diploma in Counseling and has been actively involved with In Touch Community Services as a Telephone Counselor, as the Crisis Line Coordinator, (managing and organizing the Crisis Line operations), and as the Director of Community Services at ITCS. Since 1999, she has been training volunteers in basic counseling skills for telephone counseling, and has conducted workshops on related fields also. Recently, Shikha has become a Certified Solution Focused Therapist (SFT) and also now holds a Graduate diploma in SFT.

In her spare time, Shikha paints watercolors and creates sketches. She has held exhibitions in Manila and a solo exhibition in Nepal.
