Rosario (Rose) Fillart-Scott
ROSE FILART-SCOTT is a Filipino currently residing in the Philippines with her American husband and children. She has lived and worked in the United States for eight years. She is a psychotherapist by profession. Simultaneous to her practice as a marriage, family and child counselor, she taught Family Counseling at the Loyola School of Theology in Manila and founded and operated a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center until 2001. As a counselor and training consultant for In Touch Community Services, one of the many services she provides is training in Cultural Adjustment for individuals, families and corporations. Ms. Scott has given workshops and seminars for expatriates to help them adjust to the new environment and culture as well as orient Filipinos who are leaving the country to live and work abroad. She also works as a consultant-counselor for religious groups, government institutions and corporations for personnel human formation. She has a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University in California and a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Ateneo de Manila University.
