Ms Virata is a Filipino national who received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University (California, USA) specializing in holistic counseling which takes into account the whole person—body, mind, emotions, and spirit.

Jelly is also a Certified Solution Focused Therapist (CSFT) recognized by the Canadian Council for Professional Certification (CCPC).

She has been working as a counseling consultant with InTouch Community Services in Makati for the past 8 years working with both expatriate and Filipino clients on a wide variety of issues which include: Adjustment & transitions, Grief & loss, Depression & anxiety, Family, marital, relationship, Work-related issues, Stress management, Career development, Gay & lesbian issues and Personal growth.
